Philosophy

Baden K9 separates itself from the pack with its philosophy. Open and honest communication between the dog and handler serves as the basis for this philosophy. Complete obedience is accomplished on and off lead without the use of treats, tug toys, Kongs, clickers, or e-collars. This communication, in the form of verbal praise, verbal corrections, and a simple prong collar, is all that is necessary to work effectively and efficiently with a Baden dog. The Baden K9 training program has no basis in sport and is rooted in real world necessity. Working dogs need to perform when called upon. Lives are dependent on it. Sporting dogs become very proficient at playing the game. In the real world, where there are no rules, a sporting dog will not have a chance to consistently prevail. Your family’s safety is not a game.
